Transcendence: Avid4D Recut
Updated: Aug 25, 2021
Transcendence: Avid Recut presents a non-linear approach to the movie. Character motives and intentions are not immediately clear, and the film will jump back and forth providing the viewer information in pieces, almost like a thriller.
For this reason those who have seen the theatrical release will already know what is going on, so this version is aimed at the first time viewer.
Watch the trailer below, or click the movie poster for the full fan edit:
In addition to the non-linear story telling, selected scenes have an "aspect perspective" effect that make make you question what you were just looking at. At certain times during the movie objects will move outside the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and into the black bars above and below on a 16:9 Widescreen TV.
Did you notice the rain drops at the end of the trailer? It is quick and a lot of people will miss it, but for those who do notice there are several moments like this during the full movie.
A couple of songs have been removed in Transcendence Avid4D Recut as they did not fit the new tone of the movie. Using the original motion picture soundtrack, key music sequences have been replaced in this version.
Be sure to sit through ALL the post credits as multiple post credit scenes have been added all the way to the very end.
